Step 3: Standard Odoo Implementation – Leveraging Out-of-the-Box Power

If Odoo’s powerful, ready-to-use features can cover your main needs, we’ll suggest a Standard Implementation.

• What we do: We pick the right Odoo modules (Community or Enterprise edition) and set them up to work smoothly with your existing processes.
• How it works: With this approach, your business will generally align its ways of working with Odoo's standard, best-practice workflows.
• The upside: This usually means a quicker setup and lower costs, as there’s no custom coding involved.
• Good news with Odoo Community: If we can do a Standard Implementation using the Odoo Community Edition, you won't have to pay Odoo license fees for each user. You'd just cover the hosting (an annual cost) and our implementation service (a one-off payment).

Step 4: Advanced Odoo Implementation – Solutions for Unique Needs

When a standard setup won’t quite cut it because you need specific developments or more advanced customizations, we’ll look at an Advanced Implementation.

First things first: The GAP Analysis – Your Blueprint for Customization.

• Before we dive into an Advanced Implementation, we do a deep-dive GAP Analysis. This is a crucial step where we detail all the technical bits and pieces and map out exactly how we'll tackle your unique requirements.
• We'll figure out if each need is best met by: building something new (custom development), using Odoo’s standard settings, or tweaking things (using Odoo Studio or other advanced setups).
• You’ll get a clear GAP Analysis report that acts like a roadmap. It’ll spell out exactly what’s involved, how much it’ll cost, and how long it’ll take for your custom Odoo setup.

Getting Clear: The GAP Analysis is a service we offer to give you that clarity. And here’s the good part: if you decide to go ahead with the full implementation with us, we’ll deduct the cost of this analysis from the total project price.

Keeping it Smart: We generally aim to keep any custom development to no more than 30% of the overall project. This helps make sure your Odoo system stays easy to maintain and works well with Odoo's core strengths.
